PESCO XEN Engineer Qaseem Yaqubi accidentally died on 8 June 2011 at RTC Charsadda. He was working in WAPDA as XEN. He was the brother of Professor Iftekhar Yaqubi (Principal Govt. College Zaida) and Professor Sheheryar Ahmad. He was the cousin of Professor Dr. Hidayat Ullah Khan(Physics Depot. University of Peshawar), Dr. Himayat Ullah Yaqubi (Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad), Karam Sattar Yaqubi (Editor The Hujra) and Fazal Sattar Sabir.
